"Religions on the Balcans. Driving force for a peaceful coexistence?"

The third “Balcan Salon” in the "Haus der Donau" in Ulm took place under the motto “Religions at the Balcans. Driving force for a peaceful coexistence?” The focus was on the issue, how the various religions and their institutions in the Balcans are anchored in society and in the institutions in the locations. What is the relationship between the regions and the institutions in the locations? Do they act as driving force of peaceful coexistence of various ethnical population groups or are they source of conflicts? Representatives of various religions groups and experts from the field of science and media were invited to this event.
The third Balcan Salon took place on the 18/19.11.2011. it was organised by ZAWiW” of Ulm University, the Donaubüro Ulm/Neu-Ulm and the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung.
